Hebridean Photographs

Along with updates on upcoming craft fairs/events I hope to use this blog to showcase occasional photos of local beauty spots (of which there are many!) here in the Hebrides.

Digital photography is a hobby/source of inspiration. (Harris Tweed is exceptionally photographic with its beautiful textural properties.)

Surrounded by stunning beaches, it's impossible not to take the odd snap or two - the colours of the sea, landscapes are extremely beautiful - particularly in this current tropical spell of fantastic weather.

Is this the 5th or 6th week of uninterrripted sunny weather here in the tropics of the Western Isles - Oh, I've just lost count! .... must have got a touch of sun stroke! (Sorry, but during this spell of uncharacteristic, sunny weather, it's difficult not to gloat, just a little bit ...)

Some snaps taken at Gress Beach: rock pools, flotsam and jetsam ....

June Delights

Due to other commitments, I was unable to attend my scheduled Craft Fair date.

Been busy, however, updating my range and adding new products.

I hope my Harris Tweed 'beach ball' will appeal to all age ranges as a decorative piece or a simple soft toy:
