Bookmarking, my creative muddle . . . and a Giveaway

Sorry, some VERY poor pics of the bookmarks I was working on earlier in the week - it wasn't the best light for photography after coming home from the office job last night! They look much nicer in 'real life'!

. . . a real muddle of threads, WIPs, things ready for stuffing, but the bare bones of my craft fair stock are all in there - honest!!

. . . and finally a Giveaway! I've featured these three egg cosies on my blog last year, intending to make some more in different styles - alas they have lain unloved and untouched since then! I didn't get round to putting them on my online shop mostly as they were prototypes - the centre one is VERY much a prototype as it's the first attempt (very rudimentary sewing!), but I think that makes it a little special :)

I'm offering ALL THREE up for a Giveaway - I'll hopefully find a home for each one, so there will be three winners (does that make sense???). To win one of the egg cosies just leave a comment saying why you would like one - it's open to anyone world-wide, of course :)

I'm very happy to be giving these away as I've had such nice feedback from my blog and I very much appreciate it! I'll be coming to the end of my craft stock stockbuilding this weekend and it's been a really good exercise to get me back into full production, so this is a little celebration to mark the completion of 'Operation Craft Fair Stock'!!!

I'll keep the giveaway open until NEXT Thursday at midday (BST) - 30th June.

Sorry, I can't guarantee which egg cosy each winner will receive but please feel free to state your preference!

(Please make sure you can be contacted via your Comment eg. blog, e-mail, etc). Hope I've covered everything, I'm sure I'll have forgotten something - too late now, gotta dash - until next Thursday, Byeee!

I like the embroidery. Nicely done! I try myself to embroider on crochet.

Cute. Cute bookmarks and egg cosies. Not sure I'd use an egg cosy as the only ones I tend to eat these days are chocolate, but you've done a lovely job.

I love the bookmarks and the egg cosies are great! I would love to win one as at the moment I use kitchen roll to keep my eggs warm (not nearly as cute as these cosies)

I'd love the little red tractor one. It'd kill two birds with one stone in our house - not that I condone killing birds! - The tractor would really appeal to my little boy who at the mo is refusing eggs, I'm sure he'd be more inclined if one was snuggled under a little red tractor! It would also remind me of my two very happy holidays spent in the Outer Hebrides as a child, visiting the Harris Tweed Mill and to the various Islander's garages to see their looms and watch them weaving, not to mention the dramatic landscape :)

Good luck with the muddle-sorting!

Truthfully, I don't use egg cozies, but I think I could turn one into a very cute pincushion for my collection, if I'm allowed. ;)

Ooooooh the tractor, the tractor! It would make a perfect gift for a little boy I know who adores red tractors :)

Hey Alison, catching up on blog posts after being on hols, I hope I've managed to enter your giveaway before the cut off time.......

Your egg cosies are cute as and I would looooove to win one. It would be so nice to have one of your lovely makes winging it's way to Oz. I do like a boiled goog and toast soldiers, in fact I've just decided what I'm having for lunch today..........if the 'girls' decide to lay an egg !!

You have been busy whipping up a storm for the market. Good luck with it, I'm sure you'll do well.

I think these are gorgeous! It has been a LONG time since I have had an egg in an egg cup (When I was little, and living on a farm)How good would it be to relive some of those experiences. I L-O-V-E the one in the middle, the colours, the textures of the flower, not to mention that it hails from an area of the world that I have distant kinship with :)
