What a beautiful place to live! Did you collect the wool from the fence so you could spin it into something amazing? Ha! ;) (My aunt, who is a spinner, would have done that.)
What beautiful photos! I love looking at pictures of other places/countries. Scotland seems such a beautiful place....my attraction probably has something to do with my scottish heritage and love of the bagpipes!

Welcome!
Welcome to my crafty blog. I hope to keep you up to date from time to time with some new products, features and ideas in progress, little snippets of inspiration. Occasionally some pretty pictures of the Outer Hebrides, and a dash of family life thrown in for good measure!
I work predominantly with Harris Tweed, intermingled with any other pretty fabrics I happen to come across.
I also love to dabble in embroidery, crochet, knitting, handsewing . . . .
I'm a 'crafty-nut' basically with a passion for domestic, traditional crafts :)
Living and working in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland (lucky me!), on the Isle of Lewis, where I was born and bred in a Gaelic-speaking household :D
Art School drop-out from 'way back when . . . .'
Harris Tweed rekindled my creative tendencies, and I haven't looked back since.
I would love to have your comments on my crafty musings from the Outer Hebrides - thanks! Alison :)
