My 'Office Job' (the one that pays the bills!!) takes up most of my time towards the end of the week (my 'day off' in between on Thursday is quite often taken up with other errands or chores, which is the case this week) so I'm showing my 'creative space' from Tuesday.
My youngest was at home from school, so no frenetic crafting this week! Continuing the 'patchwork' theme, I finished a Harris Tweed mini-cushion at the weekend which you can see in the pic. I'm all ready to cut out squares for another one here, using my new stash of tweed - I'm almost terrified to cut into it because it's so gorgeous!! Here goes - dare me? :)
P.S. The completed patchwork pincushions are now in the shop.
More passionately crafty folk over here at Kirsty's.

It came up beautifully.
I love the cushion, it's gorgeous! I love tweedy combos.
Can it get any more gorgeous? Pink Harris Tweed? Herringbone Harris Tweed? I want to eat it, that's how delicious it looks! Looking forward to whatever you're making with it...
sigh . tis lovely !
I say old chap, love that bit of Tweed work.
enlarge those pincushions and you have your self a gorgeous sofa pillow!!! Wonderful tweeds ;-)
Love the cushion......love the colour combinations and looking forward to seeing what you sew next....when you do cut into the lovely fabrics! (how snug and inviting would they look in a patchwork throw!) Happy sewing.
It looks so fabulous! I love the crisp joins... it's a work of art actually. Just off to the shop to see your other one! K
Deep breath, maybe squint a bit....and cut. Remember to exhale. Can't see how you can go wrong - your first is a gem!
Gorgeous tweeds - love the browns. Nic
The cushions are a great idea! How lovely to have some beautiful tweed in our creative spaces while we work : )
Know what you mean about squeezing crafting time in. I don't have to go out to the office but other stuff just seems to crowd in and before I know it the day is gone.....roll on August. It's terrible to wish time with my children away but my daughter will LOVE school : )
lovely wee cushion. cutting into much loved fabric strikes fear into my heart also
Gorgeous colours you have in the pile there. It can be so hard to cut into a lovely piece of fabric.
that looks really nice :) and the colours in the stash are really pretty, should look great sewn together
I dare you!
I like how the different tweed motifs look together.
Darrrling, did you get my e-mail?? It was rather important. Not urgent but important that you receive it. Let me know!
Oh, Alison, such gorgeous things in your space! I'm off to check out the pincushions, hee! ;)
